Mark holds overall responsibility for the company’s performance and is responsible for managing, developing and executing the company’s long term strategic objectives and ambitious growth plans. Mark has a First Class degree in Economics and joined the family business in 2011 as part of our management training programme. Having successfully delivered significant top-line growth and improvements in profitability, he was promoted to CEO of the group in 2017.
Damian has responsibility for delivering the financial planning and reporting for Meadow Foods as well as responsibility for the company’s IT function. After graduating with a Civil Engineering degree, Damian moved into finance and spent ten years as an audit accountant with Price Waterhouse Coopers. Damian joined the accounts team at Meadow Foods in 1994 before taking over as Finance Director in 1997.
Jack has responsibility for managing the ongoing business operations of all four divisions within Meadow Foods. Jack has been with the business for over 10 years and, with a background as a chartered accountant, has worked across financial, commercial and operational roles, having previously held the position of Commercial Director of Meadow’s Sugar Division.
Jim has responsibility for the company’s milk procurement and logistics across the business. Jim is a graduate of the Royal Agricultural College Cirencester and has worked in the dairy industry for 22 years. He joined Meadow Foods nine years ago and has developed the producer milk pool from 150 farmers with 120 million litres to 600 producers with 600 million litres.
Gary has responsibility for sales and purchases of third party bulk milk across the business as well as sales of skimmed milk concentrates. Gary has over 35 years of experience in the dairy industry, initially working for the Milk Marketing Board and Unigate before joining Meadow in 1999.
Jamie has responsibility for the procurement and sales of bulk creams across Meadow Foods. Jamie also has responsibility for the sales of AMF and butter produced at the Chester site. Jamie joined Meadow Foods in 2000 from Unigate PLC where he was responsible for dairy trading for more than a decade.
Pamela has responsibility for the company’s three factories, ensuring they are productive, co-ordinated and best in class. Working closely with site directors and group managers, Pam divides her time between the production sites, developing and sustaining the operational progress made over recent years. Pamela joined the business in 2008 from Nestle, where she worked for more than 20 years in quality and technical roles as well as in processing, packing and milk procurement.
